Ainy Jaffri Rahman is a Pakistani actress and model. In 2010 Ainy Jaffri won the "Best Female Model" of the year. Although she featured in some average shows like Dreamers, Zip Bus Chup Raho and Badtameez in the start of her career, she shot to fame after appearing in Meri Behan Maya in 2012. Her performance as Maya earned her much praise and critical acclaim. Currently she is featuring in Aseerzadi on Hum TV.Ainy Jaffri Rahman was born into a Shia Muslim family in Karachi but mostly brought up abroad in Singapore. She completed graduation in Commerce from McGill University, Canada. Then she went to Singapore and started working for advertisement company. She soon became homesick and returned to Pakistan and started her acting career. On an interview she told "My parents wouldn’t want anyone to be involved in acting as they belong to a conservative family with a fixed set of values. A lot has to do with not being familiar or not being able to understand the environment of the media." She faced some problems at the start of her career but now she has started her career as drama actress. As far as modeling is concerned, her height is 5 feet and 4 inch hence she doesn't prefer walking on ramp. Her aunt Azra Mohyeddin and uncle Zia Mohyeddin are also television personalities.After appearing in a few commercials she did her first serial Zip Bus Chup Raho she played a supporting character and the serial was a flop. Her next serial Dreamers was a youth oriented show and became quite popular amongst the young generation but still it couldn't do much for Ainy's career as an actor. Then she appeared in a supporting role in a serial called Badtameez the serial was not a huge success and did not do well.She also appeared in a string of telefilms in the series called Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain. She also appeared in the second season of the sitcom Kya Life Hai.

Then she appeared in legendary writer Haseena Moin's drama serial "Meri Behan Maya", Haseena Moin was writing a serial after quite a long time hence the expectations were immense from this serial, veterans such as Iqbal Ansari headed the project. The serial was a mega project and was much publicized, it aired on Geo television network in late 2012. Ainy played the lead role of Maya alongside Neelam Muneer, Javed Sheikh and Danish Taimoor. The serial was a huge success and Ainy was appreciated for her acting skills, she stole the show from experienced actors like Javed Sheikh, Neelam Muneer and Bindiya. Haseena Moin herself stated that she loved Ainy's performance. After this successful serial Ainy received a boost in her career and now again she is appearing as a lead in Hum TV's show Aseer Zadi alongside veterans like Sania Saeed, Sakina Samo, Salman Shahid and Farooq Zameer. Unlike actresses of her generation she works very less.

In 2013 she made a successful lollywood debut in Humyun Saeed's production Main Hoon Shahid Afridi. Ainy Jaffri has also rendered the voice of the main character in Pakistan's first super hero cartoon, "Burka avenger".

Marriage

On 28 September 2013, Ainy got engaged to 32-year old UK-based Faris Rahman who works as an equity analyst at Fidelity Investments London. On 22 February she got married to Faris Rahman].
